I really dislike the idea of Coast fire, a monthly spend rate that you found acceptable when you were 25 is going to dictate how much you save for retirement. add on top of that after 35 you're going to be spending 100% of your money and not saving any of it as your income grows your spend rate is going to be out of control when you hit retirement age.

I’m 36 and hit Coast FIRE this year, with retirement age at 65. Of course, I’m going to continue investing to potentially reel in retirement age. But it’s nice to know where I stand.
