This is basically the exact way we are, and always have been. Funniest part about how people are talking about "the first ring", is during the day, y'know, "normal operating hours", he may very well have to call potentially a few times. Because chances are I'm knocked out or not by my phone. But, the other day, Monday, 5am, I was awake. Phone laying on my chest. ID pops up and I immediately answered. An odd time for him to call, and while all was good, it was still a serious related thing. But, that's how it is. During the day, I'll probably answer quickly, but I'm potentially unavailable. No need to worry too much, because either he'll call again and I'll get it or I'll call back when I can. Or, he'll show up if it's serious enough. But during the odd or early/late hours, there's almost no one more reliable😂.
