So if they cancel the tax and the companies leave prices the same to keep the extra profit there has to be some recourse. If there’s not a legal statute then us consumers need to boycott any company doing that if at all possible. These companies can’t keep getting away with gouging. Oil is under $100 a barrel, less than it was in 08 yet the price at the pump is significantly more. This is the only time you’ll hear me say this but for once, it’s not government. At least not ALL gov
