Locs are low maintenance not zero maintenance. I think people get confused thinking we don’t have to do anything to them but locs are still hair so u need to care for them regularly

Be careful with that babes . I had this mindset the first 3 years of my journey. But I learned that locs do require SOME form of routine and maintenance if you want them for the long haul. This is coming from an 8 year loc girly . I learned my lessons over time 🫶🏾

being a multisport athlete with long locs not for the weak, thats why i cut them bc other peoples sweat would get in my hair + my sweat + dirt and it took forever to wash
