When I was 16 I dated a deaf girl. She had a great laugh. When we went on dates people would give her judgey looks when she talked. It really pissed me off. They didn’t know how cool a person she was. They just judged.

You know I simply don’t understand. I have met deaf people. I slow down. I always look at people when I’m speaking to them. Ive had no problem communicating. I wish I could sign I can’t. But perhaps I do. These aren’t issues. There’re barely barriers
