ACID compliance (outside of consistency) is managed by the underlying DB though - the app developer needs to only handle consistency through creating constraints

It’s crazy that nowadays, as an interviewing intern, if you don’t know what ACID compliance is, you’re NOT getting hired😂 the bar is so much higher nowadays, but the tools are so much accessible as well so ig it balances itself out

It’s kind of a poor one line question to just ask yes/no “is this entire api acid compliant” because there are many architectural decisions implicit in achieving this. Question should have actually asked what acid principles were adhered to and how they were.
