@beckerlifeandinvestments: 🚨 3 BIG Medicare changes are coming in 2027 - and if you have Medicare Advantage or Part D, you need to pay attention. This is one of those years where simply assuming your current plan will stay the same could be a mistake. Here are 3 changes to watch: 1️⃣ The temporary Part D Premium Stabilization Demonstration is ending. CMS is discontinuing the program after 2026. That does not mean everyone's Part D premium will suddenly increase, but it removes a temporary layer of premium stabilization that applied to participating stand-alone Part D plans. 2️⃣The Part D out-of-pocket cap is increasing. The annual limit for covered Part D drug costs is increasing from $2,100 in 2026 to $2,400 in 2027. 3️⃣Medicare Advantage plans are changing. Some insurance companies are reducing plan availability, leaving certain counties, or discontinuing plans. That means some Medicare beneficiaries may have to choose new coverage for 2027. And even if your plan stays, your premium, copays, drug coverage, provider network and extra benefits can still change. The biggest takeaway: Do not ignore your Medicare mail this fall. Your Annual Notice of Change (ANOC) will show you what is changing with your current plan for 2027.
