Onetime when my son was 4 I was taking him to school. Some guy was working on the house and he goes hi I’m …. I’m going to kindergarten my teacher is blank…. And I immedialty was like oop we cant be telling strangers personal information about us and had a whole conversation about it. That moment honestly scared me a little at how vulnerable something so innocent had made him. And this is from someone who thought having her accounts private and posting them when they were little was enough. Nobody who saw a picture of my kids when they were little would recognize them now and I’m so thankful for that.

Parents are supposed to teach children to be mindful of what they post online and not share private information- meanwhile, parents are literally showing strangers online where kids sleep at night, make it make sense 🤯
