This is exactly me. Married 25 years, I dont hate him or anything like that but it isn't a marriage, we just share the same house, bills etc. Im trapped financially but the thought of the next 20/30 years depresses me. 😔

I find it strange people don’t at any point sit and ask each other what they want from retirement? You don’t stop making plans as you age sometimes they get bigger more adventurous you have to realise if the dream you both once had is the dream you both still do. My plans have grown existentially since divorce we’d stopped communicating our dreams and when you do that you stop holding others dreams aloft.

I find this extremely sad 😔 a life put on hold for 35 years it's amazing what we will settle for !! as apposed too what we really want 😢

You’ve spent whole swimming up tide suddenly you get to the top and calm waters ensue. 40 years and tbh it’s the journey that’s the glue that’s held together. Each to they’re own no doubt this ad for book but either way to me it’s insane.
