@artvangarde: Darby (@darby.doodles_) creates handmade works combining drawing, textiles and sculptural experimentation. In this piece, a life-sized fabric body becomes an interactive sculpture. (Artvangarde) The contrast is striking: materials normally associated with clothing, comfort and softness are used to recreate the hidden structures of human . #art #avantgarde #artist #weird #scary Rather than representing the body only from the outside, Darby transforms it into a handmade object with layers, compartments and removable parts. The result sits somewhere between textile art, anatomical model and soft sculpture.
