@flokate: Family room reveal! We turned our Newbuild home family room into a farmhouse style snug. With a dose of reality that having kids means sometimes you have to let go of the ‘perfect’ styling! For clarity, this is not our lounge, this adjoins our kitchen and main living space, but at the moment we use our lounge as an office / storage so it’s our main chill space ! We built our fireplace and media wall, added a functioning fire with real flames, shelving, blinds, artwork, coving, painted, an oak mantle, and new flooring. This is one room of many for our new build renovation in the last 10 months and it’s worlds apart from where we started! We’re waiting for a rug which won’t be delivered until Feb 27 …. #DIY #renovation #decor #newbuild #farmhouse cottage cosy family mum design interiors Reno home house property uk
