Fun story - I'm native american and did an abroad program in college. This got brought up and I cackled. LITERALLY CACKLED! It took the Brits a few moments to collect themselves and realize why, but when our teacher finally realized it he was howling as well. 😂😂😂😂

I think we are not really talking about culture and more politics. Moving away from Europe, becoming more polarised, emphasis on individualism/sovereignty rather than community/connectivity. More car centric urban design and less walkable neighbourhoods. Etc.
