The fact that from 1825 to 1947 Haiti Paid France Reperations for France's loss of Land, ex slaves and finances and their loss to Dominican Forces in 1856 who declared their independence. And later invaded by America 1917-19934 followed by a series of Inept Corrupt Haitian Leaders and today Haiti's run by Gang members. From 1916-1924 America occupied The Dominican Republic. But the two Neighboring Countries choose a different path. Dominicans choose building while Haiti's leaders choose Dictatorship a M*llato Business class of Elites who kept the Citizens living as peasants. Followed by the rein of Terror by Papa Doc Duvalier and his son Baby DOC Duvalier. ------
