@jenn_2436: I am not solely blaming The costs rising and high prices on minimum wage being raised in 19 states, I am simply stating that yes it is a contributing factor to the high prices and rising costs. This is not an opinion it is a fact. When minimum wage rises so do prices on services and goods. #breakingnews #minimumwage #trump #prices #fyp
unchanged since July 2009… yes. Has inflation gone up? Pretty easy

CEOs in major corporations make 30% to 50% more than average workers. Raising the minimum wage causes a very small, localized bump in specific service prices rather than driving broad national inflation.

Tennessee minimum hourly wage $7.25
Ontario CA minimum hourly wage $17.60
Tennessee you have to work 50 minutes to pay for a Macdonald's 1/4 lb hamburger and 30 minutes in Ontario.

Cost getting higher regardless 🤣 just like when they ask to you to "round up" to steal your money for tax breaks

I would have rather had a FEDERAL minimum wage increase than increased prices through tariffs. If people have a little more money to spend than everyone wins. If peoples income stays the same and prices increase, no one wins.

The problem is that many people working at minimum wage jobs are getting food stamps and housing subsidies. Which I’m paying for anyway.

This has been studied. The impact of a a 10% rise in minimum wage raises prices by .35%. Facts matter. Helps to know them.
