@kateafterdarkfiles: CHRISTA PIKE — FROM DEATH ROW. 🖤 Before her scheduled execution, Christa Pike gave an exclusive interview from Tennessee's death row, speaking about her childhood, the trauma she says shaped her life, the crime that put her there, and more than three decades waiting to die. Pike was sentenced to death for the 1995 murder of 19-year-old Colleen Slemmer, a crime she committed when she was 18. This interview was recorded before Tennessee attempted to execute her on September 30, 2026. But the execution did not go as planned. After two doses of lethal-injection drugs, Pike remained alive and was taken to hospital. Tennessee has since halted executions for the remainder of 2026 while an investigation takes place. Whatever your thoughts on Christa Pike or the death penalty, hearing someone speak about the life that led them to death row knowing what happened just days later makes this clip hit very differently. 🕯️ #ChristaPike #ChristaPikeCase #KateAfterDark #TrueCrimeTok #KateAfterDark
