at that particular store there arent any other gas stations nearby to compete with and its directly off the interstate. Murphys was 3.99 last I got gas. TA gas in dubberly is 4.39. some of the more secluded places get higher delivery fees so they compensate. but what alot of people fail to realize is alot of gas stations lose money on gas as some of them keep their prices much lower than what they should be charging to bring customers in

I go into Minden to the new(er) ExxonMobil. its always cheaper then those interstate prices.

So this isn’t high comparatively speaking. I haven’t seen gas under $4 for a week and seen as high as $4.59. I live in Dubberly and work in Shreveport.

Haynesville and Homer are over $4 as well. Ruston Walmart was $3.80 last week. Minden Walmart was around $4.09

#1 is price GOUGING. #2 it’s an Exxon store & Exxon is always higher than an unbranded generic store. As a fuel distributor I have access to prices & the closest terminal to load Exxon gas is Arcadia & it costs $.25/gal MORE than unbranded generic gas today.
