I find it funny when people say it's ridiculous to believe in god, but they DO believe in some other large force that controls the universe and talk about this "higher power" in the exact same way people talk about god. I don't have anything against people believing whatever, but it's weird when they don't realize they're actually doing the same thing but just giving it a different name

it's equally silly but no wars have been fought in the name of astrology and no legislation is being passed to police certain demographics in the name of astrology. I'd have beef with the astrology people if they had institutional power they could abuse me and others with because of our astrological alignments or something lol. in that way they're not on equal footing.

i’m way against organized religion but i think having spiritual beliefs can be a very good thing because it gives people a sense of comfort and community. ALSO social media astrology suckssss, its such a fascinating and complex topic even if you don’t fully believe in it
