U can’t beat family, they won’t let u down. So sorry Holly, if only parents thought about how they would feel if it was there childs party. The sad reality today of busy lives & people cancelling out of things so easily. Cruel I know! Sometimes less is more, you will be surprised just how great it still turns out. My son had 1 out of 8 kids who said they would come show up at his 5th birthday party and he had the time of his life, didn’t notice who was missing at all!! The mum guilt is real!!

I always over invite for this reason! One year, I invited small I think 6 kids only 1 showed up. He had a ball regardless, but I always invite extra so that way if kids can’t make it it’s not a waste 😂

Aww this is SO hard on the mumma heart! It’s happened with both my kids parties over the years and even my own as an adult - and still hurts. Hope he had a great time 💜

This happened once to my granddaughter and it broke my heart.we had 10 coming and 4 turned up. Everyone replied that they were coming but just didn’t turn up . No explanations just didn’t bother to come. The sadness on her face broke my heart.she was 12 though so it really hurt her. . I hope Eli had the best day ❤️

its not on you! if they have responded yes to coming and than last minute pull out (unless very genuine reasons) its on them! We cater for a certain number food, prizes, games ect. if they are decent and notify you ahead of time you can always invite another friend/family ect. some people are inconsiderate and Im sorry it upset. Hope he still had a fabulous time 🎉🥳🎁
