Weigh your water! 3 grams matcha= 30 grams water. So start off with 10 grams water first to get your paste then do the next 20 grams of water.

Could be your matcha if it’s lower quality but also like you can go a little faster when you whisk on top

I use two different water temperatures when preparing my matcha. First,I use 25 ml of room-temperature water to work the matcha into a smooth paste. Then, I add 25 ml of hot water at 80°C and whisk vigorously for 30 seconds, followed by another 20 seconds of whisking to smooth out and even the foam

i always do 10-40-30 (just do it many times and get ur own ratio because it depends on many things: amount/type of matcha, ur speed...). 40- do it x3 times faster. 30- or more, just do the w with same speed as ur 2nd time in the vid until all the bubbles are gone

hi!! from the looks of it it’s looking like you’re whisking too slowly. i personally have never followed the (30-20-10) method of whisking vigorously for 30 seconds, bc i don’t find it to be enough. i always whisk vigorously for about 1 minute or 1.5 and then lift the whisk and do smaller more isolated vigorous whisking in place to break up top layer bubbles. also!!! make sure your water is hot enough (175-180°), as it also plays a part in microfoam! i hope this helps 🥺💓

🫵🏽 :
Use a 1:10 ratio of matcha to water weigh out how much you are using (example: 3g matcha/30g of water) just be sure not to whisk ON the scale- it could mess with the calibration
