To give context on this matter, During the 007n7 & C00lkidd QnA, someone asked about n7's intelligence, and M1 replied with 7n7 being one of the smartest survivors, even having good quick thinking, which is none the wiser cause since he was and is a hacker, I can assume he has a level of intelligence that people underestimate. Same goes for being a Tech Savy, I really like this detail and how it adds up to his new milestones & his lore. From what I've gathered about this, After losing his son(to the Spectre), n7 went back into hacking JUST to find C00lkidd. He also kept modding himself to become stronger. He believes if he gets stronger with his tech, he can atone. Which given his new lore, It would seem that n7 learned his mistake on this part, He allowed himself to be a punching bag for people to mess around with when he took in C00lkidd. Leading up to the harassment & attempts at him & CK's life, when he tried to change. While n7 tried to ignore it for C00lkidd & his future, this act of patience & enduring decades worth of harassment is one of the reasons C00lkidd grown sick of n7. Which plays into one of the factors of C00lkidd's resentment. It seems, n7 wants to be stronger because being that punching bag before, allowing himself to be subjected to disrespect is what took everything from him. I can admire that he realizes this and decides not to allow himself to be a pushover anymore. It really goes to show, while still kind & polite. He still makes mistakes and learns from them, and improves.
