Im a barista. A guy walks in and says he wants a double esspreso. I was like ok. (it costs 2.50) then hes like 'id also like some hot water plz. (we cant say no to watter as its an espresso and an italian way of drinking an espresso is with water.) So im like ok. I pour him a small cup of hot water. he says he wants the large cup of hot water, milk on the side, and if i could add a pump of honey into that hot water and not charge him for it. so basically he wanted a large americano with milk and honey for the price of a double shot of espresso. i looked at him like 'you think im fucking dumb?' so i charged him for everything seperately. The milk, the pumps of honey, the espresso. which came up to more than what hed pay in a large one (he also wanted me to not charge him for an extra shot so 3 shots in total which all individualy cost way more) i read the total, he looks shocked and asks why so much. i with a smile say 'well all the 3 single shots, honey, milk steamer. they add up to that amount." hes like "BUT I TOLD YOU NOT TO CHARGE ME FOR IT" i looked at him and say "why would i give you all the ingredients for free?" hes clearly embaressed and angry and then i say "it would be cheaper if youll just order an ordinary americano with honey" hes like "forget it, fuck you you scamming bitch" and walks away. It was so satisfying telling him no.

They do this at Starbucks too. When they try and do this I’ll take the drink back to the register and start an exchange. They get so annoyed lol
