Because that alters things when you try to sell the house, they’re gonna try to list it as a four bedroom when it was permitted for a three bedroom and then the building department is gonna get in the middle of that and taxation and all this other bullshit and they’re gonna make you tear it down or pull permits on it and start the whole process all over again…..
