Here’s what I know after years of raising teenagers and also ‘ the house’ where everyone hung out. Teenagers, (including college-age young adults) do really stupid things, especially when they are afraid they’re going to get caught. So while I am holding space for the fact that it very well could’ve been a purposeful murder or a fight that ended up in a murder, years of parenting experience and growing up with Southern politics…I think that the most likely scenario is that some sort of incident happened. Maybe a friendly/playful shove like boys do or a true argument - either scenario could be true. Then he was pushed/shoved/fell, struck his head, maybe fell in the water. Whatever the exact details, I think something happened, they all knew and being young dumb and intoxicated, they panicked and closed ranks. It’s eminently believable that their friends/parents told them or they convinced themselves that ‘Nolan wouldn’t want them to ruin their futures over an accident’ so they all decided to cover it up, stick with the story and go to their graves with what really happened. I’m not excusing it, but I have seen enough to believe that it’s possible. I truly hope Nolan and his family get justice because no matter what happened. This is not it.

I don't believe he drawn. No water in the lungs is the dead govaway. I said from the beginning Nolan fell back on the boat and banged the back of his head on maybe the THROTTLE knobs on the boat and also injuring his back and buttocks on the rim seating on the boat for inside sittting on the boat. 💯%. Google Throttles and compare the 2 knobs with the length and width of the2 bruises on the back of his head. I believe Bart is connected. You notice all the boys did interviews and spoke out. Although Bart Lawyered up earlier on he was the only one who never interviewed or spoke out. Nolan was a career threat to Bart. I believe Bart was envious of the up and coming football star, Nolan Xaiver Wells. Why was Bart so quiet? Why did he lawyer up? The question is where was he in all of this?

Excellent point. I’m new to this but did the toxicology report show the blood alcohol level? Can it do that? I think with young people a lot of the time (and the adults around who are supposed to act like responsible adults in the situation) the drinking makes the issue weird because they often abandon one another out of fear of getting in trouble for drinking? Or something? I agree there is foul play and/or gross negligence. Someone had to have seen something.

They said Nolan get on the boat and he said no im staying why they didn't say Nolan take your keys and phone. And why they didn't call his parents ASAP if they were so worried.

I hear ya and you make good points. But people describe drownings or near drownings as being unremarkable...they just slip under the water. Lifeguards are trained look for this...not someone splashing around. And often lifeguards are the only ones to notice if anyone does. In this case..no lifeguards, and I think the boats blocked visibility. Someoe may have seen him in trouble with a wide view of the water. But if he was in between boats, he could've very well been unnoticed. Sorry about your cousin.

Exactly! If his friends really did “leave” him there then SOMEONE was with him. He wouldn’t have just stayed on the island and watched every last boat leave without finding someone to take him back!
