I skipped my usual weekly update, life has been LIFE-ING, and honestly… there’s been a lot happening. The good: I received two prop firm payouts and have now submitted a third payout request. 🙌 The lesson: I literally said I didn’t want to get a couple payouts, start feeling like I knew what I was doing, and suddenly try to move faster. And then… I did exactly that…. A few of my sim-funded accounts are currently negative, and I’m paying attention to how I got there. Because one of the biggest things trading keeps reinforcing for me is that some of the behaviors that have made me successful in business and life do NOT translate well to trading. I’m used to juggling a million things. Push through. Multitask. Figure it out. Get shit done. Trading does not care. Sometimes the most productive thing I can do is sit on my hands and do absolutely NOTHING. And with business, family, buying a boat, preparing for a big trip and regular life happening right now, that’s something I’m paying even more attention to. I’m still here. Still learning. Still studying. Still working through this next layer. Two payouts don’t make me a professional trader. A few negative accounts don’t erase my progress either. This is exactly why I started documenting the journey in the first place. I’ll share more as I work through it.
