This movie was so much more then just a "horror" movie, it had so much depth and meaning to it, the woman was never a monster, all she wanted was to be a mother, to not be seen as a monster, thats why in one of the clips at the end of the movie, she seems beautiful, because shes holding the child she never got to raise herself, until the other woman (i forgot her name) yelled out to the youngest, making the lady completely forget about what shes holding, throwing it aside as if the skeleton was nothing, then taking the young child with her into the after life, living her peace that she always wanted to have. Thats how i see this movie.

my mom used to let me and my sister watch scary movies with her and she let us watch MAMA with her. i dont think ill ever forget this movie. i was probably around 5-6 yrs old and i could tell you everything ab this movie.
