Is not about the camera quality, is about the fact that they use the iPhone 17e camera for its main camera, and the iPhone 18 pro ultra wide camera. . For a $2000 phone we should be getting the best camera system (specially when the competition is using their latest flagship model camera for its foldables).

I’m buying one and I love a lot about the duo but something I find very unacceptable is the rear cameras aren’t the same as 18 pro max. It’s $2K. You really couldn’t put the best cameras you have on it?

The zoom quality is what discouraged me. Moms take photos of their kids on fields or on stages, and that usually requires more than 2X 😭. I wanted the duo so badly too!

TF are you people arguing about iPhone cameras for? 1. You’re a photographer, wanting top phone cameras, you buy Samsung…. Or (even though I think it’s shit - a Pixel), or a photographer wanting great photos - you buy a real DSLR. iPhone… for great everyday user photos. 🤷♂️

It’s the same cameras as the 18 pro max except without the super zoom. Majority of great photos won’t be super zoomed in so it’ll be just as good

You forgot to mention that the lense itself is smaller on the Duo meaning less light = less detail.

I use my telephoto lens all the time and I really don’t want to have to rely on digital zoom for everything. Which is why I’m sadly not getting the duo yet. But I want it so bad!!! 😭
