@usamicdaily: 🦅 Pete Hegseth Raises Questions About Military Voting Access Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth highlighted a reported figure of 300,000 U.S. service members who were not registered to vote during the 2024 election, drawing attention to voting access for military personnel. Hegseth argued that the government should help ensure service members can exercise their right to vote while carrying out their duties. He connected the issue to America’s founding principles and the importance of protecting citizens’ ability to participate in elections. The remarks raise broader questions about voter registration, election administration, and the practical challenges military personnel can face when stationed away from home or deployed overseas. However, not being registered to vote does not necessarily mean someone was prevented from voting or was eligible and wanted to register. How can election officials make voter registration more accessible for active-duty service members? 👇 #PeteHegseth #MilitaryVoting #ElectionIntegrity #VotingRights #USPolitics
It used to be mainly military, overseas citizens, and the home bound voted by mail. Unfortunately the communist/demoncrat party figured out how to cheat by mail and they could care less about the military vote (because they normally vote conservative)
