@mypixiecup: Replying to @𝕸𝖆𝖗𝖎𝖆𝖍 Correct it will be messy when removing, but it’s not going to be a murd3r scene. #menstrualdiscreview #menstrualdiscremoval #pixiedisc #perioddisc #menstrualdisk
to the women who feel yucky emptying it out and cleaning it: how is looking at chunky blood in a pad "less gross"??

I hated using a disc. I went back to my menstrual cup.

People who use tampons hate on menstrual disks and cups so much for being “messy” but a tampon also gets blood all over your hands. Even if you use pads you could get blood on your hands when wiping or if the pad you take off is really full, happens to me all the time. There is no way to have a period that is not messy, hating on products is so odd.

How do u deal with it in public bathrooms?? The sinks are usually outside the stalls so u can't wash your hands or rinse the cup...

Thank you for being honest. Sooo many disc content creators/companies are like "No, not messy at all"

Can I ask, how likely are these to leak if you leave it in too long accidentally? As a tampon user, I'm desperate to try other options. Tampons have gotten increasingly more painful for me after starting new antidepressant meds, and pads are sensory hell, so I think I'm finally going to make the leap to try something new for my next period. Saves me money on period products too.

It’s awful that if you get blood on your hands, you have leave the stall in front of other people. That’s were carrying hygiene wipes with you is a must.

Do you have to wash it after every use? Like after you empty it do you then have to wash it before you use it again?

now imagine it getting stuck so you have to pull it out with more force and then when the cup suddenly pops out it'll spray the blood everywhere

i love my diva cup, before i switched i felt like i was personally causing global warming and i would leave the tampons/pads in for too long and had to worry about getting an infection or getting bleach poisoning. now i only have to dump my cup when i wake up and go to sleep, im not creating any waste, and its actually safe in my body😭 sometimes people say they help with cramps but i haven’t had that experience personally 🤷♀️

everything that keeps the blood in is bad for your body, it can cause toxic shock, the only thing that is really good for your body is menstrual panties
