That scene broke my heart. So I found some an AI page of what happened in their afterlife, Ivars didn’t go to Valhalla right away because he was afraid to die. But Odin eventually let him in. I sat up late one night and watched every single video.

I feel like people hate on Ivar to easily. Every other brother even Ragnar were just as fucked up as Ivar. All of them are seen doing some bad things in the show… Ivar just had a bigger temper because he was treated different and he learned when he was a baby his father tried to leave him in the woods to die. He was still insane for a couple seasons but his main goal really was to not be seen as weak even if he had to force people to believe he was a god: he was gonna make sure he would never have that feeling again. He didn’t run away from his fears. He faced em head on without a second thought. Him and Bjorn are similar in that way
