man we are the same. i ask the same questions. when i was in rehab, there were people that didnt believe in God or anything. id never met someone like that. I ask the guy "do you believe that tree is gonna be here when we get out of group" I got him to believe in that tree and it was beautiful. Before I Ieft, he found God. Amen 🙏. I've been so blessed. God has always been right here beside us always.

There it is, friend! God doesn’t move, we do. He just waits till we quit trying to do life alone . It’s why I gravitated towards Celebrate Recovery. Nothing wrong with AA! There are multiple paths to recovery! But for me, having my Higher Power being specifically Jesus Christ, yeah something about it hits different. I grew up in church as well (preachers daughter-should explain a lot 🤣). When I tried doing life on my own is when I jacked it all up.

But ya’ll let the same religious folks that are headed straight to hell confuse ya’ll of who God really is. The word plainly says you will know them by their fruits. Meaning the 9 fruits of the spirit being love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. I’ve never seen the religious individuals that are focused more on a religion that’s man made with nothing to do with Jesus show all of those. Real Christians aren’t worried about man made things. Their focused on a genuine close relationship with the father & keeping his commandments. Those things together refine & change someone from the inside out giving them the 9 fruits of the spirit. Don’t let the hypocrites run you off from a loving father that wants to help you through the trials & tribulations of this world. He wants to lead,guide & direct you through this life safely.
