@nutritionsmadesimple: Coronary Microvascular Disease Diagnosis I’m Dr. Michael Richman a double board-certified cardiothoracic surgeon. In today’s video, I explain why normal angiograms don’t rule out serious heart issues like Coronary Microvascular Disease(CMD). CMD affects approximately 40 to 70 percent of patients undergoing angiography for suspected ischemia who have nonobstructive coronary arteries, and it carries adverse cardiovascular prognostic significance independent of epicardial disease. For further guidance or a cardiovascular/lipid consultation you can go on my website at www.paladinmds.com #HeartHealth #CMD #Cardiology #vasospasm #coronaryvasospasm

Are you trying to make the point that heart disease is just pretty much always present, such that it is normal “wear and tear” on our heart muscle? Because I listened to the video before where you’re talking about a new study that confirms what you’ve been saying. But you really didn’t get to the point in that one either. Hopefully the next video you sum it up!

Ok that’s alot of info. I had angiogram to clear me of angina no blockage in major arteries. Six years later stress test positive dr sending me for nuclear stress test next to check blood flow for ichemia? Six years ago dr said angina can come from smaller arteries but never sent me for tests. Hence 72 years waiting for nuclear stress test 🥺
