i lived in salem for 5 years. once in a while i think “wow i wish i could live there again” until i see the october tourist videos so thank you 😭 pro tip yall just… go in early september…. or any other time of year thats not october the museums still operate. all youre getting from october is the human sardine experience

Salem in Spring is the best tbh, warmer temps, everything is in bloom, the salty air is fresh, and everything they do in October they also have in April!

I drove myself in and out no problems, museum place parking garage - just had to get there before 9am. I don't get why people say to take public transportation, this is terrifying 😂😭

If you truly think about it, the reason the town is witchy is because… girls were falsely accused of witchcraft in the 1600s and killed? And maybe 1-2 popular Holloween movies were filmed there? I went in summer (not the spooky season but still) and it was literally just a town with a few Holloween/witch stores
