The verse talks about premarital sex and any text that features rape is a misstranslation as that is not what the original scripture speaks about. You can read some verses before or after that, that say that if a man rapes a married woman he'd be executed

Yeah and how they know if it’s what their jesus said because Jesus didn’t write the Bible; someone else wrote it. So how can they know that the story hasn’t changed based on the writer’s own interpretation or perspective? History clearly shows that, in the past, when there were no phones or other modern means of communication, people passed stories from one person to another, and those stories often changed over time and became different from the original.
