Young adults would go out if getting a few drinks didn’t cost 200-300$. Hear stories of 1$ beers for older adults

From a 21 year old girl, to get into a club is $20 then drinks on top of that is like $15 a drink, places are filled with weird old guys and the music sometimes sucks so it ruins the night plus then the uber home is $30 -$50. So if im a student or trying to save for like travelling I’m not going out to spend nearly $100 a night 💀

Why does nightlife have to focused around nightclubs and drinking? Surely there is more to life.
