@uncanny_aly: Want to research vampires properly? Start with academic sources, not somebody’s uncited TikTok theory. For vampire folklore, historical vampire accounts, occult history and supernatural research, look at JSTOR, Google Scholar, Project MUSE, university archives, primary sources and peer-reviewed scholarship. And check the footnotes. Always check the footnotes. #Vampires #vampiretiktok #VampireFolklore #AcademicTikTok #HistoryTok

The last vampire case we had in Croatia was in 1933 in Kneginec castle. It went public and it was bad. Some theosophy students from England came to northern mountains of Zagorje, and yeah bad stuff happened. They held seances in the castle etc but you should check out the vampire of kneginec and the dark queen.

I don’t know about resources, but I have been enjoying your videos ever since you popped up on my page. However, I know a movie that might interest you since it’s about a different kind of “vampire” lore that I found interesting. It’s called “Leptirica” (The She-Butterfly) which is a 1973 Yugoslavian folk-horror film. I don’t usually watch horror movies, but that one just stuck with me, only because it reminded me of a “true” story about a vampiric creature that I have heard about from my grandfather. 😅

Seeker of Wisdom :

this is another rabbit hole that was given to me that you might like as well. The tales of demigods, the divine right of kings, and other things like Samson reflecting sometimes called "Demihumans." I believe the starseed/earth angels/chosen one stuff in the supernatural community is where they recognize an natural connection to "the heavens," but a lot seem to get deceived. not sure what kind of scientific research might have been done about these, but nonetheless

Ana Paula D :

okay, I'm a biomedical researcher is there anything about how would their biology work? I would love to take a look in that.

Hi I’m a solo traveler, I am willing to go anywhere. Is there any where you’d suggest I travel to for researching vampires? I have already been to New Orleans which has some vampire lore but I’m willing to go anywhere.

I spent over 4 years researching, and I found something, mostly sanguine fetish and cosplayers. But I did have something as a encounter. But I’m just leaving it up to imagination.
