But honestly, even though it is the responsibility of the government to provide and support emergency services in Ghana, I believe we, as civilians, also have a role to play. I think it is time for agencies, hotels, businesses, and other private organisations to come together and contribute towards improving our emergency services. With our collective support, we can help provide modern facilities and equipment to better respond to fires, accidents, and other disasters. If we continue to rely solely on the government for everything, we risk losing more lives and properties when emergencies happen. We all have a part to play in making our communities safer.
