I stopped wearing my glasses at home and now my eyesight is exactly the same ( for context it used to go down 0.25 every 6 months but now it's the same).

I once told my optometrist "I don't eat carrots as much as my mother that's why my prescription is too high", she giggled a bit and told me I should eat veggies anyway but not that much it doesn't help much 😂

I read a lot and that has caused me to get dry eyes and I use screen time on my phone or the tv to relax my eyes 😂

My Neuro Opthalmologist told me that he could tell by my eye exam that I've been good about wearing my glasses 🤓. Is that true or was he just buttering me up so I wasn't so sad when he told me I have glaucoma? 😭

I pretty much only ever wear my glasses if I'm driving (which is rare these days - good public transport). I've had the same prescription for 12 years.

Honestly this makes me feel better lol. I have +0.25 and 0.5 cilinder in both eyes which is I know honestly nothing, but I really only wear my glasses to drive and read things at a medium to large distance (tv/computer). I know the eye strain (and headaches) aren't great for me but it's good to know I don't have to worry about making my eyes worse 😅
