nobody talks about us, the trauma, the ptsd, the triggers, how small I feel when someone starts yelling, the way my heart starts racing when I hear loud noises, the flinching, not liking being touched, & the remembering. we survived too, & we deserved better than what we got.

My mom had 3 kids before my little sister was born and I used to be home alone to witness it I still remember every incident and I was in elementary at the time.
