@coachkatieciotti: A Childhood Memory✓ My sister Christy and I used to sing this song together when we were little. I was in 2nd grade, and she was in 4th. It was a difficult time in our childhood—our parents had just separated, and we were homeless. I remember being out on the streets at night, looking up at the stars with my sister, singing this song and wondering if our dad was somewhere looking up at the same sky and thinking about us. It’s a sad memory to carry, but it’s also a part of our story. Those moments shaped us, strengthened us, and molded us into the women we are today. Looking back, I wouldn’t wish those experiences on anyone, but I can say that somehow, through all the hardship, God used them to make us stronger, more resilient, and more grateful for where we are now. Some memories hurt, but they also remind you just how far you’ve come. ❤️
