Animal lovers!! something I want to bring to light that is terrible is this girl on here who has pet rats and her rat got a bad respiratory infection so she decided she’s going to euthanize it herself she strangled it to death and gave advice to commenters on her post about euthanizing rats at home but she said message me privately because it’s too disturbing to put in the comments and I messaged one of the girls that she replied to and she said this is the message that girl sent here is the account username : llovelyshoko and the video is “the hardest part about owning rats” this is the message: she said this “There’s a few ways you can put down a rat but weirdly the most humane way is suffocating. You can put them in an air tight tote or container and mix baking soda and vinager to make cO2 gas tho I didn’t do that. You can also take a heavy object like a rock or hammer and one really hard blow to the head I also didn’t do that it’s to violent for me. What I did was I held her chest firmly not crushing tight or loose but firm making it so she could breathe. I had her resting on a towel in case she peed or pooped. I held her chest until she took her last breath she struggled to get out of my hands and it was so hard to watch. Whatever you choose it’s important you stay calm for them then cry after they will feed off your fear and sadness. You want them to be as calm and comfy as possible.
