people forget, magik (in the comics anyway) is the ruler and sorcerer supreme of limbo (not earth)...add that to her mutant ability (the discs) she is a deadly combatant...and the sword is very very deadly

If Colossus does get damaged, it's easier for him to stay in his metal form. There has been times where his whole arm got bend out of shape, and Beast spent time to re-bend it back. Beast with a welding torch, and using it on him.
