I don’t rent nor do I own property to rent but have to say I don’t agree with rent freeze. My mortgage goes up every year because insurance and taxes raise. It’s not right. Mine goes up too. I’d like to pay just my mortgage at 1700 a month once u tack on interest and taxes and insurance I pay almost 3k a month how is that right? And it keeps rising just like utilities

NYC raises my property taxes by 20% a year, and I live in my condo. It’s crazy high. Meanwhile the brownstone next to me is worth 10X, but pays less that what I pay

I’m small lanlord so it doesn’t effect me but i agree with you. Costs are rising crazy, every year tax property goes up, all other costs too. I didn’t rise the rents for 2 years. This year i had too
