He turns up at the airport in Lagos with one of his sons and a Zairean passport under a false name, stolen years earlier from a government office. At six foot four, the disguise fools no one. In Kinshasa he is arrested. Uganda wants him on trial. Zaire wants him gone. And Saudi Arabia, the only country that ever took him in, refuses to let him back. For two weeks the most feared man in Africa has nowhere to go. He returned to Jeddah on a promise of silence, and kept it. The Saudis called him "Dr Jaffa" for all the oranges he ate.
