Javi :
My answer is definitely yes. I always thought of someone who can listen. I consider myself a listener and people have used me in the past because of my tendency to listen and not to interrupt... Sometimes our ego doesn't let us be on that state, try to interrupt and divert the conversation towards oneself... and it happens most of the time unfortunately... But here is the thing, a communication between two people let's say, should be a two way channel, and both parties, if they are intelligent enough, should use these channels wisely... Maybe one day, or a fair amount of time, should just listen, included with those wise silent pauses so the speaker and the listener can digest and let everything sink into the system and as a way of reflection for both, and also, instead of divert the conversation to oneself, prompt the person with a question about the subject or about them. Allow that person to express, to talk, to let them get it out, squeeze their intellect about what they want to tell you. And the next part it's the intelligent part... On another time, or just one hour later perhaps, the other person let you express about the subject you were willing to tell them, to listen and question with the same intensity. This type of interaction is something that unfortunately is quite uncommon. Ego is the one that keeps interfering... People need to pause, listen, and let the silence talk sometimes.
