I’m tired, but I’m still trying. I’m quiet, but I’m not okay. I miss the old me. I smile like nothing happened, but deep down, I’m fighting battles nobody knows about. I don’t need much, I just want peace, loyalty, and someone who genuinely understands me. Sometimes I wish I could go back to the days when my heart was simple and I didn’t overthink everything. But life changed me, people changed me, and now I’m learning how to protect my heart. I still care, I still love, and I still feel deeply, but I’ve learned not everyone deserves to see that side of me. Maybe one day everything will make sense. Until then, I’ll keep going, even on the days when I don’t feel strong.
