This information is correct. I called and I got my benefits started in one day. They put $2000 in my account 1800 a month and 250 for burial because my husband died last year but I’m 60 years old actually 61 should’ve got it last year.

That amount is incorrect- you get 100% of the xspouse providing you’ve been married 10 years or more & single

I became a widow at 52, after 20 years of marriage. He was married before me, howver, I was told she does not get any of his social security. She will get a raise, but non of it will not come from his social security.
