💌Letters To Heaven 💌 The day you died, broke me💔 I’m just not the same as before. Things I once pushed through, just don’t seem to matter anymore🕯️ Grieving you has shown me what’s important🦋 -Losing a loved one exposes you to the truth about everything. Family and friends who you thought would be by your side, distance themselves (Most people don’t know how to help you)🤍 I found out quickly that even though your friends and family do their best, at some point you are expected to be “over it.” Like that’s even possible. I continue to find comfort in grieving my way. Sharing the memories, the good times and the not so good times 🕯️ Writing in a journal has helped me process my emotions and say the things that were left unsaid. Meditation has stopped the racing thoughts and vivid pictures of that traumatic day and the constant mental reminders of planning the funeral along with the actual funeral. Things like these have helped me in my own grieving process 🕊️ You don’t owe anyone an explanation for how you grieve ❤️ Be gentle with yourself #grief #GriefJourney #griefandloss #griefandlossjourney #widow
