Ex said my pelvic floor was extremely loose, that it felt "like a wet rag". I was devastated & started holding tension there 24/7. In less than a year I was diagnosed with vaginismus. It's been a couple years and I still use dilators & go to pelvic floor physical therapy to try and relax... it's caused some bladder incontinence, and intimacy can be painful now. I shouldn't have listened.

I had a vaginal birth and had a very very slight tear that did not require stitches. I finally go the courage to inspect fully a year later and I noticed a new “lip” if you will coming from the bottom of my vaginal opening. It is attached where my tear was (kind of at the base) so not a prolapse coming from the inside. and it’s bright pink where the rest of my vagina is a darker pink and purple. Is this normal? I don’t have insurance so no doctor to ask
