@foodkagechris: Geralt's Potions from the Witcher 🧪🐺 Witcher alchemy: 10/10. My tolerance: 0/10 Recipe: Hibiscus Tea: -500ml water -10g dried hibiscus (or tea bags, torn open) -80g sugar Note: The tea should be translucent (see-through ruby red), not opaque. If it looks too dark, thin it with a splash of water, or the color change won't show. -150ml chilled hibiscus tea -Small ice cubes -1 pinch baking soda (dissolved in a splash of water) -15ml fresh lime juice -50ml soda water -Lime wheel and mint sprig, to garnish Instructions: Bring water to a boil, remove from heat, add hibiscus and steep for 6 minutes. Strain out the flowers, stir in the sugar while still warm until dissolved, then cool and chill fully. Fill a flask with small ice cubes and pour in the chilled tea until it's vivid red. Add the dissolved baking soda and swirl gently; it shifts to dark purple within seconds. Add the lime juice and swirl again; it snaps back to red. Top gently with soda water and garnish with a lime wheel and mint. Tip: It's real pH chemistry. Hibiscus turns purple with alkaline baking soda and back to red with acidic lime. Use just a pinch of baking soda, or it tastes soapy. #geralt #thewitcher #alchemy #cooking #foodkagechris
