I personally did not like how they kinda just brushed off how Mera killed Aquaman and Arthur just basically forgave her. The entire aqua family found out about it and they kinda just brushed it off. I don’t think the writers handled it very well. I think if they explored that moment more after it happened it could have led to a amazing arc on Arthur and Mera’s love for each other
